The leader’s mobilization capacity

The leader’s mobilization capacity

inspired by john c. maxwell, the 5 levels of leadership

The leader speaks, people listen, then they take action. There are several levels of leadership. The capacity to mobilize evolves from obedience (level 1) to natural involvement (level 5) :

. Position (level 1) :   the leader uses his title, his hierarchical power, the mobilization effect results from obedience

. Permission (level 2) :   the leader shows people their worth, the mobilization results from the willingness to follow

. Production (level 3) :   the leader exceeds the objectives set by the organisation, the mobilization results from the willingness to engage in a secure environment

. People development (level 4) :   the leader develops individuals, organizations, the mobilization results in gratefulness

. Respect (level 5) :   the leader is who he is, what he represents, the mobilization results in natural involvement
